Description
Secret Government is a grand strategy game about a secret society that has invisibly ruled humanity for hundreds of years. You will not lead any individual country, but the Brotherhood, an organization that manipulates the whole world.
You will send your agents to various states. Infiltrate management institutions in order to pump out resources and seize more and more control over decision-makers. You will change the domestic and foreign policies of countries.
The ultimate goal of the Brotherhood is not just a thirst for power or wealth. The Brotherhood strives for a global reorganization of the world.
You have to actively create history, starting from the 17th century. In each game mission you will intervene in the main conflict of a certain period. You will be able to take part in the Glorious Revolution in England. Or influence the struggle of the thirteen colonies for independence in the New World and decide the fate of the American Revolution. On this path you will face a hostile secret organization. Her methods are similar to yours, but her goals are completely different, and you will have to figure them out. You need to move slowly and carefully so that countries’ awareness of your influence does not increase too much. Otherwise, you will be exposed, and you will lose the level of influence you have already gained in this state.
You will have access to many activities related to diplomacy, economics and military affairs. Follow the internal politics of each country! If the ideology of the ruling party is very different from the views of different classes, if the level of taxes is too high and the level of public order is too low, expect a revolution. Although, maybe this is what you are trying to achieve?
You will not be able to impose your will on the rulers – control in the game is indirect. You cannot order a monarch to declare war on a neighboring country.
