Moving to North Bay If you want to live in a smaller community, away from the hustle and bustle of big city life, if you wake up to the sound of birds chirping instead of cars honking, this is for you. North Bay is called the “Gateway to the North” because it is located between two large lakes in the northernmost part of Ontario.
With its forests, rivers, and waterfalls, this serene region offers a comfortable and tranquil lifestyle. “You’re close to nature and your family,” said Naveen Anuja, an immigrant from North Bay.
If you feel the need to reach the busy streets of the big cities, North Bay is only a 3.5-hour drive from Toronto and Ontario. In North Bay, immigrants enjoy a high quality of life and a low cost of living. In North Bay, the average cost of living is about $1,325 and you normally earn about $2,384 per month.
North Bay Presents RNIP Moving to North Bay!
The Moose Jaw region of Saskatchewan is the last group that has not yet launched its immigration pilot project. North Bay can now be added to the list of cities to live in by foreign nationals looking for another way to immigrate to Canada. The goal of the community-based immigration policy is to attract specialists and intermediate skilled workers from abroad to the region.
Find out what you need to qualify for the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program and why you should consider living in North Bay!
What is the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program (RNIP)?
The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Project is designed to help Canada’s rural and northern communities gain access to skilled workers and federal government funding to help immigrants settle in local communities. These countries face many challenges, including aging populations, labor shortages, and youth out-migration. Very few immigrants are spread across Canada and prefer to settle in major metropolitan centers such as Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, missing out on other profitable opportunities by moving to the North Bay.
This situation is about to change. Community employers would be interested in the recruitment and immigration process by recognizing labor shortages and offering permanent jobs to foreign employees.
