Frostpunk is a new game from the creators of This War of Mine. This is a game about the survival of society, where without heat there is no life, and every decision has its own price. In a completely frozen world, people develop steam engines to withstand the unbearable cold. You have to build the last city on earth and provide your people with the means of survival.

Often, optimization and rational use of resources fall on one side of the scale, while compassion and humanity fall on the other. While managing the city and society will take up the lion’s share of the ruler’s time, at some point exploration of the outside world will become necessary to understand its history and current state.

Some of your decisions – such as helping a villager in need or compromising with a new faction – may seem small, but remember that the sum of your actions can lead to unexpected results. People have trusted you, but their loyalty is not unlimited. Power can become a burden.

DEVELOP TECHNOLOGIES

Survival is impossible without development. React to current events, but do not forget about the long term and invest in technological progress. Creating an advanced infrastructure with self-loading automata, aircraft and other technological wonders is not easy, but achievable. It all depends on your management and leadership skills.

EXPLORE THE FROZEN LANDS

While New London is always your main focus, there’s a much more diverse world outside of your city. Expeditions involve risk, but can bring you important intelligence, valuable resources, and also increase the population of your city. There may be people in the icy expanses, and their fate is entirely in your hands.

PLAY ENDLESS

Frostpunk’s Endless Mode gives you endless possibilities for new playthroughs. Play on 8 maps with unique terrain, varied weather conditions and challenges. We know that players may have different desires, which is why Endless Mode comes in three versions. “Endurance” will be a real test for lovers of construction, management and survival in the most severe conditions. In “Builders” you will start the game without a generator, which will certainly present you with new difficulties. Finally, Serenity is all about building a city in a calm, relaxed environment.
