Description
Return to Monkey Island is the unexpected and incredible return of series creator Ron Gilbert, continuing the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island: LeChuck’s Revenge, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
Many years have passed since the last battle between Guybrush Threepwood and his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. The love of his life, Elaine Marley, has retired from gubernatorial affairs, and Guybrush himself has never revealed the Mystery of Monkey Island and is simply going with the flow. New young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have removed the old guard from power, things on Massacre Island are going from bad to worse, and the famous businessman Stan has gone to prison for “advertising crimes.”
Have fun with old friends and new characters, but don’t forget that familiar islands have become much more dangerous under new leadership. Set sail on the open sea and explore new, unexplored places. On the way to glory, Guybrush will encounter insidious plots of enemies, tricky puzzles and find himself in a lot of funny situations.

The classic gameplay is reimagined in a modern way. Fearless pirates will solve puzzles and explore islands using cleverly redesigned and improved controls from the original game.
