Description
Earthworm Jim is an arcade platformer in a two-dimensional space world, in which the player, on behalf of an unusual superhero, will go to rescue the kidnapped princess and prevent the usurpers from seizing the throne.
Jim was once an ordinary earthworm, and his daily routine was to absorb humus and hide from birds. But one day a large-scale space battle broke out right above his head, as a result of which an ultra-technological super-suit fell to the ground, into which Jim accidentally crawled and mutated into a reasonable and large superhero. Now he belongs to the cosmic world and has found himself embroiled in a palace coup in the battle for the throne – he is being claimed by the Worm Queen, a cruel tyrant who plans to seize the power that belongs by right of succession to Princess-What’s-Her-name. The princess is languishing in captivity, her fate is sad and Jim decides to go to her aid using his newly acquired skills and strength.
On your way will stand the evil mercenary Psi-Raven, the brilliant scientist Professor Monkey-Head and all the armies of Queen Glistova, thirsting for only one thing – your head, for which there is a big reward. Visit surreal locations, explore the capabilities of a super suit, look for weapons, develop dexterity and reach the finale to meet the Queen of the Glistovaya herself and protect Princess-What’s-Her-Name from the machinations of the invaders.
