Description
APICO is a simulator for creating, maintaining and developing your own bee farm. The project, developed and released by an indie team of programmers, uses pixelated, bright colors to create a pleasant atmosphere of unity with nature, because there will be no noisy cities nearby, only fields with beehives, lakes, forests and soothing musical accompaniment. Careful exploration of the world around the player is encouraged by achievements from the list of rewards, new beautiful biomes to start your own business and new types of bees that need to be caught and taken to your land. There are a total of 90 types of striped insects. They can also be obtained through crossing in the camp.
In addition to the tasks of building a farm, the gamer is tasked with optimizing production, wisely using resources, processing them using the crafting menu, and so on. Many of the beekeeper’s concerns are implemented in the form of simple mini-games with casual controls. After receiving the first harvest in the form of natural honey, the player has the opportunity to sell the fruit of the bees’ labor and receive a certain amount of local currency. It can be used to purchase upgrades, rare supplies, customization items for your virtual protégé, and much more.
